Hurricane Helene stormed through Western North Carolina and left a wake of destruction. From homes to highways, rivers and backroads, trees and towns, much of the landscape we know and love changed overnight. The beautiful thing about Western North Carolina is that we are resilient and ready to help out our neighbors at a moment's notice. And that’s just what we are doing! From sharing shelter, food, tools, and labor, each and every one of us is standing arm in arm with neighbors, friends, and family to rebuild our mountain towns and communities. The journey will be long and difficult, but we love the incredible hills and mountains we call home. We are Mountain Strong!
