SHERPA

When you live at the top of the world, your perspective is a little different. The Sherpa people are the heroes of expeditions to summit Mt. Everest and other peaks in the Himalaya Mountains. Through their grace, warmth, and good humor, they have managed to co-exist with one of the harshest climates in the world.  

Founded by Tashi Sherpa in 2003, Sherpa Adventure Gear pays homage to these legendary high-altitude climbers and to the beautiful area they call home. In addition to making and testing technical gear and materials, SAG also helps strengthen the fabric of its families, villages, and country by providing meaningful employment to the people of Nepal and by giving scholarships to children in rural villages, who may not have the access to education.
