Honey Badger Fixed Blade Knife
SMALL BUT POWERFUL - READY FOR ANYTHING
The Naylor Forge Honey Badger Knife is hand-forged by Naylor Forge, Boone, NC, using 52100 Carbon Steel. The Wharncliffe blade shape allows you to index down the spine for ultimate control when skinning, carving or other close-up work. If you need to bear down, the knife edge sits below much of the knife’s handle allowing you to maximize leverage. The Naylor Forge Honey Badger full tang blade is clad with durable maple wood scales that are ergonomically shaped to keep your grip secure and comfortable. The pommel has a brass piped lanyard hole complete with a leather lanyard. The drop sheath is handmade from high-quality bridle leather and is custom fit to each knife. The Honey Badger is the smallest knife Naylor Forge makes, but just like its namesake, it can handle just about anything you throw at it.
While brass tarnish is a natural process and simple to clean off, consistent upkeep and care will keep your knives in the best condition for years to come. Hand-forged blades tend to have a raw, natural look, and discoloring is a feature rather than a defect. However, to prevent future rusting and patina, it is essential to keep your knife blades and brass features routinely oiled.
These Naylor Forge knives and sheaths are handcrafted and will have some slight variations...which we think adds to the awesomeness!
