One year ago, Hurricane Helene raged through Western North Carolina, leaving devastation in its path. There was so much work to be done and so many neighbors in need that it felt like we were standing at the bottom of an enormous summit— an intimidating climb ahead of us. Now, a year later, we see that what was truly awe-inspiring was the incredible efforts of our beloved community, both literally local and those that held us in their hearts and helped us with their hands, to rebuild every home and holler. The Mountain Strong Pewter Ornament shines bright with resiliency and is an elegant reminder of the strength of community. 

The craft of casting pewter has been around for over 2,000 years. Kent and Martha Morgan of Mount Airy, North Carolina continue this tradition by using designs with old-world distinction for each cast. The jewelry and ornaments are cast by hand to give you tradition, detail, quality, and beauty. All of the pewter items are finished in high-shine silver.
