Lightweight, yet durable
Stuorra 'Aksu translates to "Big Axe" in the Sami language. The Sami are known for their reindeer herding and lasso skills as well as their craftsmanship. This hunting axe is specifically designed to process game or domestic animals. The head is made from hygienic stainless steel and the joints are filled to make the axe easy to clean. The handle is a beautiful curly birch and comes in your choice of light or dark finish and features an inlaid reindeer antler with the Karesuando Kniven logo. The pommel is capped with sculpted moose bone.
Your purchase includes a black leather belt sheath for protecting the edge and ease of carry. Also included is a diamond-coated sharpener in a leather sheath.
This is a hunting axe and is not designed for chopping or splitting wood.
