The Helle Sigmund Knife is constructed to be an all-purpose knife with classic features. The hand-sanded, satin-finished handle is designed with stacked pieces of dark oak wood and leather to provide detailed craftsmanship. The handle combined with a durable Triple Laminated Helle steel blade provides an out-of-the-box, ready-to-use tool for intricate cuts or delicate slicing. The Sigmund offers a medium-sized handle that has small, yet thoughtfully styled fingerboard guides for a secure grip on daily projects. The Sigmund is in many ways a unique, historic Helle knife created for the 2012 anniversary and it has quite a story to tell. Designed by two generations of Helle men − the blade was designed by Sigmund Helle in the 1930s and its handle by his son Torodd Helle in 2012, thus representing 80 years of tradition.
