BOONE, NC – The Mast General Store in Downtown Boone is hosting Southern culture ambassador and comedian Landon Bryant for a book signing on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Landon Bryant – or @LandonTalks on social media – shines a light on Southern culture, speech, food, and more, while explaining the nuances of manners to those who may be new to the region.
Bryant made his Grand Ole Opry premiere on April 22, but he’s been “talking to the internet” and sharing his stories, memories, and how speaking Southern is all about context for three years now at the urging of his wife, Kate. His shorts on social media led to stand-up comedy and more, which include segments called “Let’s Discuss,” where the subtleties of “pen and pin” and “might could” are defined.
Meet Bryant at the Mast Store in Downtown Boone where he will be signing his recent book Bless Your Heart: A Field Guide to All Things Southern. Books will be available on the day of the signing.
Don’t miss Bryant’s on-stage performance at the Appalachian Theatre - show time is 7 p.m. on May 19, and tickets are available at AppTheatre.org.
