Meet Southern Culture Ambassador Landon Bryant at Mast Store Winston-Salem

A man with long brown hair and glasses and wearing a white shirt with the words bless your heart on it in a wooded setting.

WINSTON-SALEM, NC – The Mast General Store in Downtown Winston-Salem is hosting Southern culture ambassador and comedian Landon Bryant for a book signing on Monday, May 18, 2026, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Landon Bryant – or @LandonTalks on social media – shines a light on Southern culture, speech, food, and more, while explaining the nuances of manners to those who may be new to the region.

Bryant made his Grand Ole Opry premiere on April 22, but he’s been “talking to the internet” and sharing his stories, memories, and how speaking Southern is all about context for three years now at the urging of his wife, Kate. His shorts on social media led to stand-up comedy and more, which include segments called “Let’s Discuss,” where the subtleties of “pen and pin” and “might could” are defined.

Meet Bryant at the Mast Store in Downtown Winston-Salem, where he will be signing his recent book Bless Your Heart: A Field Guide to All Things Southern. Books will be available on the day of the signing.

If you miss him on May 18, he will be at the Mast Store in Boone on May 19, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. before his on-stage performance at the Appalachian Theatre (showtime is 7 p.m., and tickets are available at AppTheatre.org).
