A Rare Addition to the World's Finest Collections
The Boker Damast Annual Knife 2026 finds its inspiration in the fundamental techniques of Japanese martial arts, a concept known as Kihon. This philosophy is reflected in the clean, functional, and minimalist lines of the knife, which was designed by the renowned American knifemaker Lucas Burnley. The centerpiece of this year's edition is the 160-layer Damascus steel blade, hand-forged by Chad Nichols in a classic ladder pattern. This steel provides a dynamic appearance while maintaining the edge retention needed for a reliable everyday carry. The handle is crafted from premium carbon fiber, a material chosen for its strength and modern aesthetic, which keeps the overall weight of the knife impressively light. For secure handling, it features a traditional backlock mechanism and a manual thumb stud for opening. Hand-assembled in Solingen, Germany, this annual edition is strictly limited to 999 pieces worldwide and arrives in a high-quality display case. It is a purposeful tool that honors traditional craftsmanship through contemporary materials and design.
