The Mast Store in Greenville will host our neighbor and partner Friends of the Reedy River. This conservation group works to protect the environment while supporting practical economic development. Their efforts over the last many years have been focused on the Saluda-Reedy River watershed resulting in the Reedy River’s health improving markedly. Part of the Swamp Rabbit Trail follows the Reedy.

The Reedy River has always been an integral part of Greenville. It provided water for early settlements, power for textile mills, and now, a beautiful place to enjoy a walk, a concert, or a Shakespearean play. Since 1993, the Friends of the Reedy River and other partners have worked diligently to restore the beauty and viability of this great river.
