This knife is a tribute to frontiersman/adventurer, Jim Bowie Circa 1795 1836 . The original accompanied Jim Bowie to the Alamo and then into the realm of legend.
14 1/4 inches long overall, the stainless steel blade is 1 5/8 inches wide and 9 inches long. Holes in each side of the solid brass hilt were originally used to secure the knife into a shaft extending the reach. Each knife in this special series is serial numbered. Handmade, hand tooled American bridle leather sheath is serial numbered on a brass plate to match the serial number on the knife see inset . This bone handled knife features bone that has been aged to a creamy perfection. Jim Bowie would be proud. Handle may be personalized with full name or three initials.
