Each box comes with an elf as well as the illustrated book. You read the elf's story to your children then set the elf out somewhere in your home to watch over them. The elf is always watching to see who's naughty and nice. Sometimes the elf will move to a new vantage point during the night and your kids will have to find him all over again.
