Alpaca At The Annex
On Saturday, June 12th, the Alpaca from Apple Hill Farm visited the Annex .
The 4 Alpaca, dressed in bow ties and sporting new haircuts, were a big hit with the Annex crowd. The humans from Apple Hill Farm educated the Annex crowd on, among other things, the many uses for Alpaca wool.
The wool, which is similar to human hair, is even being used to help soak up oil in the Gulf of Mexico. After a long day at the Annex, the Alpaca headed back to the farm in Banner Elk for a well-deserved rest.
The Apple Hill Farm Alpaca’s were a big hit with all ages.
