For shopkeepers in the late 19th century, Mr. Mast among them, their neighbors and friends were also their customers. Service was most often delivered with a smile and a side of local news or other information.

Today, the Mast General Store both embodies and embraces a way of doing business that is becoming more difficult to find in our fast-paced world. We strive to continue the great tradition of not only providing most everything anybody would need, but doing it with the same gracious and helpful customer service that W. W. made famous. Whether you are at the Original Store in Valle Crucis or the Mast Store on a main street in your town, we hope the service you receive lives up to that tradition.

Let us know how we can help. If you saw an item in a store, but can’t find it online, call or email. If you are trying to figure out if that really helpful kitchen tool your grandmother had is still being produced, call us. Wondering if anyone still measures feet before selling you shoes, we do—come in and see us.
