- Carolina Mountain Land Conservancy to Receive Donation from Land Trust Day

The first Saturday in June each year is designated as Local Land Trust Day at the Mast General Store. In each of its locations a land trust serving each community participates in a friend-raising event to educate guests and visitors on what land trusts do. This year volunteers and staff members from the Carolina Mountain Land Conservancy will be at the Mast Store in Hendersonville letting people know how a land trust protects watersheds, farmlands, and scenic vistas. At the end of the day, 20% of the day's sales will be donated to the organization.
