It’s that time of year again to show your Paladin Pride as Furman takes the field for another exciting season of college football. The first home game of the fall is on Saturday, September 24th when Furman hosts Presbyterian College at one in the afternoon. The 24th is also White Out game day with Family Weekend festivities hosted all around campus. Greenville will pulsate with eager fans who’ve waited nine long months to see their beloved athletes prove their mettle on the field at picturesque Paladin Stadium. A quick and delicious recipe for your tailgating festivities:

Wind & Willow Stuffed Mushrooms
1 package button mushrooms, cleaned and “de-stemmed"
1 package Wind & Willow Mushroom Cheese Ball and Dip Mix*
1 8 oz. block cream cheese, softened
3-4 Tbsp crab meat, shredded
3-4 Hickory Smoked Peppered Bacon*

Clean and stem the button mushrooms and set aside. In a mixing bowl, stir together cheese ball and dip mix, cream cheese, and crab meat. Spoon into mushroom caps and place on baking sheet. Top each mushroom with a small piece of bacon. Bake for 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Serve warm.
